The life of a credit

Five steps, and there is no sixth. Nothing is hidden behind a renewal date or a plan you have to leave.

One-time credits burn down AI generation draws from your bought balance instead. It only moves when you generate something.
Delete it and it stops Remove a website or a machine and it simply stops renewing. Next month's bill drops by exactly that much.

Delete VM #2 and next month is 180 credits — no downgrade, no notice, no call. Add a ninth website and it is 350. The bill follows what you run, in both directions, on its own. AI generation is not in this figure: it is spent from one-time credits, only when you generate something.

How is my monthly bill worked out?

It is the sum of the recurring credits of everything you are running that month — each website, machine, gigabyte and database, at the credit price it was created at. There is no plan fee and no minimum on top of that, so running less costs less and running nothing costs nothing.

What is the difference between recurring and one-time credits?

Recurring credits pay for things that keep existing: a website, a VM, storage, a database. Each one charges its credits when you create it and again every month you keep it, and stops the moment you delete it. One-time credits are a balance you buy outright and spend once — AI generation is what draws on them today. They never renew, never expire and are never returned, so they are only ever spent by something you asked for.

Do credits expire?

Never. Bought credits stay in your balance until something spends them, and there is no monthly reset to lose them to.

What happens if I run out of credits?

Nothing is deleted. A monthly charge that cannot be paid puts that resource into a grace period — it keeps running for a week while we email you. Add credits in that window and nothing is interrupted; if the window passes, the resource is suspended until you top up, and everything it is made of is kept. You can also switch on automatic top-up, with a monthly spending cap you set.

What happens when I delete something?

It stops renewing immediately, so you are never charged for it again. The month you have already paid for is not refunded — it simply runs out.

Can I change what I'm running mid-month?

Yes, at any time. Adding storage or resizing a machine upward charges the difference pro-rated over the days left in that resource's month, so a change on day 28 costs two days of it rather than a full one. Scaling down lowers the next monthly charge.

Are the prices shown what I actually pay?

Yes. The credit cost of every resource comes from the same catalog the billing engine charges from, so the figure you see while building is the figure that leaves your balance.
